Bacterial/Fungal Infection or STD??

Let me start off by saying I have never had sex xD. Okay about 3 weeks ago I shaved my pubic area, well just the area under the testicles b/c the hair was getting all tangled up, I used a pair of electrical trimmers that I completely forgot to sterilize first :(. Well I cut myself, and got very scared b/c my brother has genital herpes and GOD knows I do not need any kind of STD's but he said he has never used those to shave. Well everything was fine, until like 2 or 3 days later I started getting really bad pains which actually were stomach pains which I did not know at the time, but I also got a bump above the penis area, and I did not shave there at all which got me really fretful. That's when the itching started, I bathed in clorox/bleach and everything seemed cool for about 2 days then I started getting really dry and uncomfortable between my inner thigh groin area. I was told that was probably from the bleach drying my skin. That's all I had for a while, but then it started to get back worse between the inner thigh area, its like an itching/dry feeling all the time. Well just this Monday I decided to go the doctor(2 Weeks of agony, yes I am dumb). He gave me some clindamycin b/c he said it was probably just an infection from the clippers (He didn't even look down there, cheap doctor). I have been taking those, and putting some Desoximetasone cream down there, and it seems to be a lot better than before, but it still has slight itching between my legs, someone help me please. Also like last Wednesday pain in my penis started, like the foreskin area(I am uncircumcised). It was really just when I had to pee, it felt like I had a cut down there, right after I would urinate(no discomfort while urinating, just after) My skin seemed to be infected, but since I have been taking the Clindamycin it seems to be a lot better, still minor uncomfortableness after masterbation, but the thing is I had not masterbated like a week before the pain started so it couldn't be from that, maybe the infection spread there? Could someone please help me? Do you think this is and STD, or just an infection, my mom thinks it could be jock itch, even though she does not know that I used the trimmers, so that's why her diagnosis might be wrong lol, I can not go off what the doctor said b/c he didn't even look down there, the minute I said I have not had sex he just wrote it off as an infection.

Hello,

It does not sound like a fungal infection which is itchy rather than painful. It looks like a bacterial infection which is causing tenderness and pain. Continue taking the oral antibiotics.

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the symptoms persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thank you, again. It seems that I am doing a little better, I have another Doc app. today, so hopefully we can do something. Everything seems to be getting better, and I have not used the cream since yesterday.

Hello,
Ketoconazole is a synthetic antifungal drug used to prevent and treat fungal skin infections and as mentioned earlier it does not look like a fungal infection. Yet to confirm the diagnosis, get a KOH examination of the skin scrapings done. If fungal infection is confirmed then you can use topical antifungals.

Also it seems that the Ketaconazole stings a bit when I first put it on, maybe from the infection? I have not put it on today yet, so I do not know if I will sting every time.

Thank you very much. So I have been taking the Oral Anti, and Desoximetasone cream, well I switched to Ketaconazole yesterday bc I heard that it would be better for my condition, does this sound okay. This is my 6th day of the Oral Anti and yesterday was my first day of the Ketaconazole, but I had been using the Desoximetasone for like 4 days. Is prescription Ibuprofen okay? Sorry for bothering you, and thank you for taking out the time to help me.

Also, the penis area also has this kind of throbbing feeling, it all seems to be on the foreskin, I hope this does not cause me to have to get circumcised, FML LOL!
