My husband (29 years old) has a small tissue grown (like flower bud) at the outer sides of the anal opening. The skin is small, about 0.5 cm in dia with a rounded free end and the other tapering end which joined to the anal opening. The pair grown in two extreme opposite directions of the anal opening. He hadn't noticed it before, thought that it will be grown over the age...
There is no pain or bleeding in that region. I wanted to know whether it is commonCommon cold to all males or is it the beginning of tumor or any other abnormalities??
I had searched in the website to find out what it is, but i couldn't get any relevant message.
I would be more happy if anyone clarifies my doubt. Please post me the answer, i will be thankful to them.
I cannot confirm a diagnosis without examination, but it sounds like anal warts.
Anal warts are small warts that can occur in the rectum. They are cauliflower-like protuberances and are usually symptomless. They are spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner.
For small warts that affect only the skin around the anus, several medications(like podophyllum resin, Podofilox (Condylox), Trichloroacetic and bichloroacetic acids, Imiquimod 5% cream and interferons) are available, which can be applied directly to the surface of the warts.Other treatment options include electrical cautery, surgical removal, Carbon dioxide laser treatment and electrodesiccation.
In my opinion you should talk to a cosmetologist/dermatologist about this and get these warts evaluated..
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how your husband is doing and if you have any additional queries.
