Any ideas peeps !?

Penis head is still very red esp after mastubation and little tears around the rim form , and still experiencing a mild burning sensation after 4 weeks . I'm  applying dermovate once a day now until end of week, when I'm due to see GP for follow up appointment .
P.s noticed that the tip is also very red and inside

I know your GP has already explored whether this is thrush but this REALLY sounds like thrush and I notice that your GP only gave you miconizole which you stopped using because it had little effect.  I have used Miconazole for ringworm and it is REALLY slow acting and you have to use it for a long time... Were you not offered an oral medication?? Go to a Lloyds or Tesco pharmacist and ask for their own brand of Canesten oral capsule. (The branded one is around £15).

The chemist will likely ask you if you are sure you have thrush.... If I were you (and this is just my opinion) I would tell them that you are certain that it is thrush as your partner has told you that she has it. The worst thing that can happen is that it is not thrush and the tablet won't work but there is no harm in trying.

I am not a doctor and I know your GP has tried an antifungal already but the symptoms you have described are identical to those my ex partner had. We both took an oral treatment for thrush and it cleared up. When I have had a stubborn case of thrush I have sometimes had to take two tablets. This may be the same in your case. For the sake of less than £10 I would urge to at least try it.

Thank you so much for your reply . I don't know why my GP is going down the dermatatitis route , because I saw a doc at GUM clinic who reckons thrush and another GP at my own surgery. It is a lot better than twas but not as should be. I will give the thrush tablet a try .
Many thanks again
GP is trying me on fucidin cream , heaven knows why cause don't think it's bactetial infection
