Dried Foreskin

Hi there.

I am a type 1 diabetic and according to my research, i have a really bad case of phimosis/balanitus.

The tip of my foreskin is unable to retract due to dryness and it has gotten so bad that my foreskin has gashes on it at the moment, 6 to 8 gashes.

I recently started improving on controlling my blood sugar levels and started living active and healthy, the problem went away for a while, but when I had sex with my girlfriend (my first and only sexual partner) first time in a very long time, a tiny rip appeared on the tip of foreskin, it then started to swell and dry out causing the gashes/rips.

Please give me advice on how to remedy this!  It is EXTREMELY painful and frustrating!

Hello,
What has happened is restriction of the movement of the foreskin. this may have caused phimosis. People with phimosis cannot move their foreskin and cannot clear or wash under foreskin of penis. You must not try to pull it back as it will cause pain. You must consult a doctor who will prescribe you some lotion or gel and if does not helps then it has a simple surgical treatment known as circumcision. It is very common operation and doctor will make a cut on your foreskin and it can be cured easily.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

You need the help of a urologist.  In the mean time, you could try neem soap and moisturizing with 100% pure clear aloe vera.  Or Lotrimin cream may help.
