Hello,
Since you have got the symptoms that it is itchy, dry and white colored, so definitely the first possibility is of eczema. But if it is smelling foul then fungal infections also need to be ruled out. What you can do is get a KOH examination of the skin scrapings to rule out any fungal infection. Allergy tests for eczema will also help. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Thanks for your reply.
Actually, I had these symptom after a long bath with special soap although I have itch and puncture in this area with white dry color which appears/disappears from time to time ! It disappeared now but it still itch me ! Sometims it smell badly too!
I have consulted 1 generalist and 2 dermatologists !
The generalist and one of the two dermatologists have said that this is an eczema ! The same dermato said that this is not an infectious symptom at all, not a from biological agent!
But the other dermatologist said that this is due to Corynebacteria !
So I'm confused !
I'm very stressed nowdays and very allergic against many products! I don't know if this may cause such a symptom!

Hello,
This wound can be due to scratching the area due to itching, infected and irritated hair follicles or herpetic sores. Most individuals have no or only minimal signs or symptoms from HSV-1 or HSV-2 infection. When signs do occur, they typically appear as one or more blisters on or around the genitals or rectum. The blisters break, leaving tender ulcers (sores) that may take two to four weeks to heal the first time they occur. Typically, another outbreak can appear weeks or months after the first, but it almost always is less severe and shorter than the first outbreak.

The only way of ruling it out is by getting yourself tested for genital herpes. Laboratory tests include: culture of the virus, direct fluorescent antibody (DFA) studies to detect virus, skin biopsy, and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to test for presence of viral DNA. I sincerely advise you to consult a dermatologist and get it ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
