Broken Veins

Hi, My son is six.

He has suddenly developed some broken veins on his face and they are increasing on the other side. He is Atopic; allergic to dairy and egg with very dry skin, asthma and previously eczema. He is taking a low dose of inhaled cortiscosteroid everyday for nine months and is regularly reviewed etc although has recently been wheezy and allergic to pollen. I have also wondered whether the sunscreen I am using, which is a children's Uk sensitive one may be responsbile? I use it liberally although do not reapply every one to two hours (as suggested) as he is at school, is is possible I am using too much of this? Is it likely to be disrupting hormones etc. Any ideas very welcome please!

Though uncommon, children can develop rosacea or telangectasias(visible blood vessels) to inhalational steroids. Do consult your doc.
