Thank you Dr. Aparna for your response. I will consult my doctor's physician regarding this. After researching more on the internet using keyword 'melanocytic nevus' and it looks like these brown spots are cancerous in cases where the size is more than 8 cm.
Hi,
A mole, technically known as a melanocytic nevus, is a small, dark spot on human skin. The high concentration of the body’s pigmenting agent, melanin, is responsible for their dark color. Moles are a member of the family of skin lesions known as nevi.
It often requires a dermatologist to fully evaluate moles.According to the American Academy of Dermatology, if a mole starts changing in size, color, shape or, especially, if the border of a mole develops ragged edges or becomes larger than a pencil eraser, it would be an appropriate time to consult with a physician.
It is better you get it examined by your doctor first.Even it turns out to be no cause for worry, you could always have them removed.Common mole hair removal procedures include plucking, cosmetic waxing, electrolysis, threading and cauterization.
