Bump on penis

After using the bathroom I noticed a little bump on the shaft of my penis. It sticks out like a pimple and is white ontop but has a little red spot in the middle. I've seen this ones before but didn't thank much of it and it went away. Now its back and I'm a little worried. I would like to know if anyone knows what this is and if its serious or not.

The tip is all dark red now. Is that a bad thing?

Well sense you brought it up it's probably a rash due to friction rub. I won't go into details but i think you know what I mean.

Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub, folliculitis, cysts or genital warts(caused by HPV infection and chances are less likely).

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
