, and thighs. I think the first bump appears when I was ~18-20. Since then more and more bumps accumulate, and they don't go away. They do not hurt when they are not inflamed (, which could occasionally happen naturally or if I scratch
and if it is squeezable I see some pus, and when it doesn't hurt anymore the bump stays. I only scratched some of those on my chest.) [They probably start out to be colorless, as those are colorless near my armpits
and on my arms.] I have attached a picture to this website - additional pictures are here:

I have no idea what those are! Last time when I consulted a dermatologist & another time a general practitioner, they both said the bumps are non-contagious. The dermatologist said they are lipid
cysts. Can you confirm what they are? Is it true that they are simply fat bumps?
There are tons of skin diseases people have, and I am just confused which one I have. Medical experts here, what is the most likely skin disease I have?
I have read some of the related posts on this forum, but they don't seem like it is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keratosis_pilaris
They are really embarrassing bumps to have! You can probably imagine how it affects my life. What kind of treatment options (medical / cosmetic) are available? I never got any medical advice from those experts - I really doubt their knowledge. What might have caused them?
cysts. A sebaceous cyst is a closed sac occurring just under the skin which contains a "pasty" or "cheesy" looking substance called keratin. They may occur anywhere on body but scalp, ears, back, face, and upper arm, are common sites for sebaceous cysts. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts.
To confirm the diagnosis and to rule out any benign fatty tunors you need to get an examination and a biopsy skin done from a dermatologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
