Two weeks ago i found that I had a small little red circle on my face. it was moist and it burned if i touched it. So i figured it was nothing, but later during that day I peeled the scab off and it followed with peeling more skin off and it had the same burning sensation. So i monitored it and used peroxide excessivly but it seemed that it wasn't working much. So i assumed it was because my skin was very dry. I'd use lotion and it seemed to help calm the open burning sores. The shape was a size of a quarter. So the next day i fell asleep on the side where I had the sore *noted i had a bandaid covering it* and another formed on the same side but near my noise. So i applied lotion on it and it took around 4 days to cover up. Now the lotion has helped but the skin still feels sensative. If i put my hand on my cheek i can feel a slight burning which shows me that it's still sesensative. And my cheek has the cluster of dead skin that makes my cheek feel a lil scaly. So after almost curing all my burns, i just got one yesterday morning when i woke up. an open sore below my lip, that burns when i touch it. So i applied lotion but I'm getting fed up because on my jaw, one formed during the day, and my neck has a lil slightly burnin sensative spot. I haven't seen a doctor about this because I thought i'd do some research before paying but I feel like it'll just keep reoccuring. 2 weeks and it's all been on my face. Thank you for your time.

After waiting a while, i found that it was infact Ringworm that I've obtained. I was able to fight it off with lotion and peroxide (for cleaning) but honey was a big mistake. So im using Lotrimin and so far it's going quite well! Thank you very much for the feedback!!! I really appreciate it!

Hello,
For such lesions on face, fungal infection or tinea facei can be the first possibility. The other possibility can be of sarcoidosis. To rule out tinea facei, skin scrapings can be taken and then KOH examination of the skin scrapings done.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. I remember this started when i blacked out on the side walk of SF and I'm orignally from Sacrmento. I woke up 3 hours later, and met up with my friends. Resources tells me this could be wind burn...but it doesn't look like it does in google images. A very thin layer of skin being pulled from my face leaves a burning sensation. Are these the typical symtoms...and how long will this last?
