Chemical burn from hot tub?

I spent about 20 minutes in our newly aquired hot tub last week without realizing the Bromide level was extremely high. The next day my genitals (female) felt burned and swollen, and I soon discovered large blisters inside and out down there! My rectum also hurts- probably similar to hemiroids. The blisters are very sore and I'm actually having trouble going to the bathroom. I have tried epsom salt soaks, silvadine cream, nystatin powder, and Aquaphor ointment. Nothing seems to be helping... Still swollen, still sore and blistered. I'm assuming this is from the Bromide for lack of anything else to blame. I haven't sought medical attention because I have no insurance or regular doctor and it's  an embarassing problem to present to total strangers. I also have a strong fear of misdiagnosis from bored, assuming doctors and would rather self treat if possible. Suggestions?

Hot-tub folliculitis also known as Pseudomonas aeruginosa folliculitis could be a differential diagnosis.
P aeruginosa is usually a self-limited infection, clearing in 2-10 days.
Do consult your doc.

I would try treating with 100% pure clear aloe vera.  Don't let it happen again.  Consequences can be serious.
