Circle rash on inner thigh...doesn't wanna go!

okay, well i noticed last week, a little circle rash on my inner partly outer on my thigh. about a week later, it has grown a little bigger than a silver dollar. it only itches during night sometimes. it can burn every now and then, but not often. i went to the doctor, he gave me cream and antibiotics. well, it hasn't got any bigger, but now it looks as if it's, "peeling" only on the circle. its my only one though. i went back to the doctor and he gave me another, stronger cream. well, not much of a difference, so he told me to go to a skin specialist doctor, a dermatolagist, no good at spelling!"/. never the less, i really don't wanna go, so if you have any ideas, advice, or a thought...REPLY!(:

have a good day, and thank you for taking time to read.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
One of the possibilities for such kind of annular rash is granuloma annulare. It consists of reddish bumps arranged in a circle or ring which are itchy. Usually it is asymptomatic but due to cosmetic disfigurement topical or oral steroids may be needed. My sincere advice is to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
Then it has to be differentiated from other possibilities like ringworm and nummular dermatitis also.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
