A cluster of bumps have grown over time on the back of my neck and i have taken a lot of medications but to no avail. It started like a single pimple at the back of my neck many years ago but is now increasing in size and number. Pls i'll be glad to know what will stop this cluster of bumps. (See attached picture).
Nothing can be said with surety without a clinical examination.
It could be eczema, sweat dermatitis, allergic reactions or eczema.
You need to wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites.
Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps. You could take some oral antihistamine medications like cetrizine or loratadine. You need to maintain a good personal hygiene .
Anti-itch drugs, often antihistamine, may reduce the itch during a flare up of eczema, and the reduced scratching in turn reduces damage and irritation to the skin.
For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone or desonide), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide).
Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Moisturizing is one of the most important self-care treatments for sufferers of eczema. Keeping the affected area moistened can promote skin healing and relief of symptoms.

It would be advisable to consult a skin specialist for your symptoms and a proper clinical examination.
Try sulfur 8 medicated original formula, anti-dandruff hair and scalp conditioner, if they are only in area of the picture or on your scalp. I had a similar problem, plus I would see blood spots on my pillow cases and towels, or wherever I laid my head on. It started out just as you stated, and over time it got worst.
I dislike taking drugs because of the many side affects. Since none of us really know if we have a pre existing condition that may react to medication negatively until after we have already taken the medication. I have tried numerous over the counter products, spanning several months before trying sulfur 8, yellow and white container. During the first few weeks, the irritation stopped, shortly after this, my skin began to clear up, but I stopped using it too soon, which cause the bumps to reappear, however, once I resumed using this product it clear up again. I end up using a little less than half of the container before they finally went away for what appears to be for good. It has been at least four years since I had that problem. I shared this information with a friend and his problem went away as well. They also have a shampoo with the same name. I would use both. I hope this helps.
