Cortison Dent and Fat Transfer

by MsSkinProblems, Aug 06, 2009 09:27PM
I have a depressed area the size of dime on my chin from a cortisone injection in my chin.  I have read the threads online that discus the possibility of re-growth of the fat in the area of atrophy.  (I hope this does happen for me, and, really, for anyone else who loses tissue in this startling way.)  What I want to know is whether it would be helpful to have some fat of my own (which my doctor has stored for me) transferred to the area while waiting for the regrowth to happen?  What I don't want to do is to interfere with the natural healing process.  Any advice on this topic would be appreciated.
