Hello,
To confirm the diagnosis, I suggest you to get a KOH examination and fungal culture of the skin scrapings done. A biopsy skin can also help in clinching diagnosis. Treatment is different for both. While it is antifungals for the fungal infection, it is steroids and antihistaminics for the eczema.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. Treatment can be started only when the diagnosis is confirmed. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

hello,
Thanks for your reply, but when my penis was scratching for the first time,i went to a dermalogist,he gave me some sorta powder, with a red cap nd white body in plastic called anti-fungal i guess,i powdered the area, and again for the second time, when it itched,i repeated the same stuff again, the itch goes off but still the white patch remains, when i touch it,i feel like scratching,

Hello,
At this age, these white patches on scrotum can be due to dry skin, eczema or fungal infection( when chronic). Wash the areas and wear cotton undergarments. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used which is available under a dermatologist’s guidance.
In case the symptoms persist then consult a dermatologist in that case.
