(Diabetes)+(H1N1 Shot)=red bumps/pimples all over body

Hi, everyone, my dad is 45 years old, lives in Taiwan and he was diagnosed with diabetes 3 years ago. Recently he went to get the H1N1 immunization shot which caused him to develop red bumps(with pus)/pimples all over his body and I was wondering if there is anything that can be done about the pimples and/or why are forming after the shot.
