Dry White Flaky Patch of Skin on Penis Shaft

I had two unprotected BJs (but protected vaginal sex) with two different girls in the last 2 months (the last one about 3 weeks ago).  Two days ago, I noticed "white" dry flaky patch of skin on my penis shaft (underside).  I also noticed there being a tiny cut like a paper cut (due to an erection while the skin was dry and flaky).  I got another cut last night in a similar manner.  I have since put on intensive moisturizer.

I don't have any sores/blisters/warts/scabs/etc.  No pain during urination.  No discharge from the eye of the penis.  No discharge from anywhere.

However, the location of the dry patch is the same location where it itched the day after the second **.  Since then, no serious irritation until the discovery of the dry skin and the paper cuts a few weeks after the second **.

Now the dry patch area has been moisturized but it clearly looks different from the normal patch of penis shaft skin.  It has been discolored and looks thicker due to the flaking/dryness.

It feels like the patch is a bit burning but it could be due to the cuts.  If my mind is not focused on it, then I don't feel anything.

The dry patch has reappeared twice after having been moisturized but now takes a longer period of time to reappear due to intensive moisturizing.

Reading the Web articles, it doesn't appear to be herpes since no sores/blisters/discharge/scabs.  No HPV.

What could it be?  Yeast infection?  Fungal infection?  Just dry skin?  I do have eczema on other parts of the body.

Any updates? If you have eczema elsewhere, it could be affecting your penis, as well. Have you tried changing your soap, laundry detergent, etc to see if any of those might be triggering the problem?

Using a penis health creme may help to reduce the dryness and improve the texture of your skin.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to ringworm or dermatitis skin. You need to get it examined from a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis. Treatment is diagnosis specific. What you need to do is consult a dermatologist and get a KOH examination of the skin scrapings of the penis and a biopsy of small skin sample done if the symptoms persist. KOH examination of the area will clarify whether it is due to fungal infection or not.

You should also maintain hygiene and try to keep the area clean and dry, wear loose-fitting cotton clothing. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid deodorant / cosmetics. You can also use calamine lotion or cream with zinc oxide paste applied directly to wet skin after bathing.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Probably yeast/fungus.  Try Lotrimin cream as directed on tube.
