Enbrel fears

Hi, I have severe Psoriasis on palms and bottoms of my feet. I have tried everything from cream to ointment, ulta violet and Grenns rays and nothing really worked. My doctor wants to put me on Enbrel but i am nervious about it. All the reading i do about it suggests that the cure is worse then the disease and it seems that the risk of getting cancer, lupus or the like is extreamly high (higher then the other injectables). I am no stranger to biologics, my doctor had me on Raptiva (before they pulled it) and i loved it. Completly cleared me with no side effects and even kept me clear for 2 years after i stopped using it. But Enbrel scares me. Does anyone know anyone who was on it that may be able to shed some light for me?

...there were alot of things he could not do anymore. Since being on Enbrel, the inflamation, pain and swelling is gone. He's doing the things he wants to do and its because of Enbrel.

I understand why you are nervous about the side effects, but my dads experience has only been positive.

My dad has been taking Enbrel for several yrs for psoriatic arthritis. I realize this is not the same condition as yours, but it has helped him tremendously! His hands were so affected by arthritis that there alot o
