strange skin illness for 74 year old

hi everyone

i saw this on a different website and was wondering if any of you might be able to help. ive been checking back on this post to see what happens because i'm kinda curious and the poster seems pretty distressed, i dont think the person is having any luck getting advice about it. my grandma used to have a lot of extreme skin itchiness/dryness issues that never really got resolved and i know this kind of stuff can be really terrible for people. i'm sure the user1372605549 would appreciate some input.

Hello Everybody,

I would like to ask help about a strange skin illness.

My mother-in-law (who 74 years old) has a big problem.

About 2 years ago appeared a little red point (like an insect bite) on her left leg (on leg back surface - around calves muscle).

The doctor told my mother-in-law, this is likely an insect bite, and suggested - use Fenistil cream to disappear the red point from her leg. Unfortunatelly

the red point did not disappear, but it became bigger and bigger slowly. The doctor suggested another cream, but it was not helpfull again. The red spot size

became about 5 cm, and slightly hard to the touch. The red spot generally is not hurt, but sometimes hurt a little. The doctor suggested a biopsy surgery to

take a tissue samples to analyse it (tumor, etc.).

The test results were negative. The doctor said, maybe it is a deep vein inflammation, or panniculitis, but is not sure.

About one year ago my mother-in-low noticed that, the same little red point appeared on her right leg too, the same place then on her left leg earlier. Then

this little red point became bigger and bigger, then earlier on her another leg. We noticed that, the two red spot (on both of legs) maybe moved away about 1 - 2 cm on her legs skin surfaces.

We are helpless, so help us please, if somebody has a good idea or experience to solve the problem.

Thanks a lot,

Attila
