Extreme Forearm Sensitivity

Starting around mid day my left forearm has been extremely sensitive. It seems to have come out of nowhere. It is not the muscles/bones in the forearm it is only the skin. Running my fingers accrossedbit or even my shirt rubbing against it while walking is almost painful because of the extreme tenderness. At night my wife sleep beside me on my left side laying on my chest. I thought this may have something to do with it but this has never happened before and it started around mid day, so again it seems this has come out of nowhere. I'm a bit of a hypochondriac and have anxiety so any help is appreciated. Trying to avoid going to the doctor. God Bless

I should add there is no bruising, rash, redness, or swelling on my arm.
