Itchy rash

I've been having rashes all through my body since i started working at the Dairy department at Walmart. I have gone to Dermatalogist and Allergist and no one can seem to give me a straight answer to my problem. i have spent over 3,000 dollars on doctor bills and still no answer. I got tested for allergies and it came back that i was allergic to Dust mites, grass polen, weed polen, chocolate, and all tree polen. I even got a skin biopsy done and it came back as a chemical reaction to an unknow chemical.  So every time i had a rash i would think about what i just did or ate to make them come out and nothing seem to catch my attention. Besides the fact that when i'm at work and i'm working on cleaning the shelfs that's when i can say i start itching. The rash look like hives as i itch they keep spreading. They itch so bad that it makes it impossible to sleep. I've tried using aveeno, anti-itch cream, olux, etc. and nothing seem to stop the itching. i'm losing my mind thinking on what it might be causing it. I really need help, I've been dealing with this for about 4 yrs now and i'm now pregnant with an itchy rash on my belly. Someone please give me some comfort. Thank you for your time.

Hello,
From the symptoms the possibility of hives is there and in your case it can be due to chronic hives. The cause of chronic urticaria is often more difficult to identify. Most cases are called chronic idiopathic urticaria, which means they're caused by the body's unexplainable development of antibodies to itself (auto-antibodies).
Regarding this itchy rash on abdomen, pruritic urticarial plaques of pregnancy( PUPP) need to be ruled out. It is characterized by small red bumps and hives, and when severe, the bumps form large patches. This rash usually develops on the abdomen, and spreads to the thighs, buttocks, breasts and arms. Slight itching from PUPPP may cause mild discomfort. However, PUPPP does disappear after delivery.

Anti-itching topical medications, antihistamines and topical corticosteroids can be used to control the itching but they are to be taken after consulting a gynecologist. Even application of calamine lotion is helpful.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
