This sounds like seborrheic dermatitis. Seborrheic dermatitis has been associated with fungal infections , weather, stress, and even food. I suggest that you frequently and vigorously scrub the affected areas. If the scalp is involved, frequent shampooing and vigorous shampooing will be able to help .For seborrheic dermatitis, this may be persistent and recurrent given the proper triggers. The frequency of shampooing seems to matter more than the type of product or medications used.
