Flat red spot on nose

I have had a flat red spot on my nose for about a good 10 years now.  I am 22 years old and I remember first seeing it around the age of 12.  I don't have acne and rarely ever have a zit.  When I push down on the spot the redness disappears for a second & comes right back.  It's extremely frustrating because I don't insurance so I don't want to go to the dermatologist.. It doesn't hurt or anything but it's really a bright pink & super noticeable.  I'm very fair skinned.  Any idea what this mysterious spot could be?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hello,
Well without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but various possibilities are there for your symptoms. First is of flat warts. They are benign tumors of the epidermis and usually occur in children. Flat warts are about the size of a pinhead and usually appear on the face, but can also appear on arms, knees, or hands.

Other possibilities are of solar lentigo and solar keratosis.

I think that you should get it evaluated from a dermatologist as treatment modalities for all are different.
I hope that helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing and if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.

When people  say they cant afford a dermatologist, it doesn't help to suggest a dermatologist. Maybe offer an idea of treatment would actually help. Because I'm in the same boat,  with my red dot and lack of money so i know I'm not able to go to a dermatologist.
