Lump on penis shaft

Hello, I have a weird lump on the backside of my penis shaft...near the middle...
i am pretty positive it is not a wart, because of the way it looks and i have not been sexually active in a long time...and the last time i was was about 2 years ago and i have annual std checks,
the lump feels sort of like there is air in it, it is  not hard, it is flesh colored, never turns red, never hurts, never itches...
sometimes i get so upset i try to pop it and nothing comes out at times, and sometimes i think i see white material,
i recently popped it again but this time, you can say, i cut it open and i am recently waiting for it to heal, it sort of looks like it is ggrowing back to what i describe as a bubble...
i have had it for a while...a year or even 2...
can anyone tell me what it is?

Hello,
For these sebaceous cysts, apply warm compresses and do not try poking it or squeezing it. If the symptoms persist then the treatment methods mentioned above have to be thought of.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like a small cyst rather than a wart or boil. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts.

Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected,Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.

Consult a dermatologist so that you can be examined and the best treatment option decided.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
