Itchy skin, inner thigh/pubic region burn/itch - pic

Sorry for posting again but i took a pic of something this morning. for those who may have missed my last question about a week or so ago my upper inner thigh to pelvic region started getting itchy. i didnt think much of it until it seemed to be getting worse. then one night about a week ago my body started to itch. i started researching this and scabies seemed to be popping up. i dont think it is scabies because i dont have any of the other signs such as lines in skin rashes etc. i thought maybe jock itch since i do work out alot(gym) and run but until today i noticed nothing. i did buy jock itch cream but that seems to burn a bit actually.

i started to maybe think my body itch was a mix of small gnat bites (though i have no visible bits) from running at the beach and mowing the lawn and maybe minor sun burn from again running outside in the heat since its mainly my exposed areas that itch like face arms and legs and not my chest back, rear etc.

i was scratching my lower region this morning and started doing an inspection and noticed a small red rash like area now. could this be from scratching? dry skin? jock itch? or possibly my bigger fear maybe scabies from someone or the gym?

As stated in my last post i have a physical in about 2 weeks but was thinking of pushing it forward a bit to get checked on this. only reason im making a new post is because i could not figure out how to add a picture to an old one, sorry/thanks
