Growth on finger, just below nail.

I have had a growth I guess you can call it for about a year and a half to two years. It seems to be spreading, and is painless. I've tried wart removers with no luck. One did take it off, but it returned within a week or so after. Its painless, and hard to the touch. It seems as if its dry skin. It is on the finger right before the nail starts, its mostly on my right middle finger, but as i said, it seems to be spreading to my other fingers, in the same spot.

Hello,
For small warts, several medications(like podophyllum resin, Podofilox (Condylox), Trichloroacetic and bichloroacetic acids, Imiquimod 5% cream and interferons) are available, which can be applied directly to the surface of the warts but they should be sued under a medical supervision.Other treatment options include electrical cautery, surgical removal, Carbon dioxide laser treatment and electrodesiccation.

In my opinion you should talk to a cosmetologist/dermatologist about this and get these warts evaluated.

Hello,
From the symptoms it can be inclusion cyst, myxoid cyst or a HPV wart. Warts are tumours or growths of the skin caused by infection with Human Papillomavirus (HPV).They are contagious when in contact with the skin of an infected person. It is also possible to get warts from using towels or other objects used by an infected person.
