Growths on underside of Penis

by RC-51, Mar 18, 2003 12:00AM
Along the underside of my penis I have numerous bumps that extend from the base of the shaft to the head of the penis.  These bumps are generally in a straight line with the majority of them having hairs growing out of them.  For the most part if you squeeze one of them it acts like a pimple and white stuff comes out with the hair remaining.  There are also some extremely small white bumps around the area where I was circumcised and the underside of the head of the penis.  All of the bumps are smoothe and are not clusterd together but are basically seperate.  The odd part of it is, is the fact that the head and top part of the shaft of my penis are perfectly clear.  Shouldn't the entire thing appear like this?  Do you have any idea of what these could be and what I should do about it?  None of the items are painful or itch.  Are there any topical creams that I can get without a prescription that will make this stuff go away?  What would happen if I tried something like Compound W on these bumps?  Thanks for your help.

These are cysts and pore openings.  THey represent normal penile anatomy, and affect the part of the penis you have them on.  You can't squeeze them out, and don't need to (and can't) remove them.  They aren't contagious and represent no disease.  You have a lot of company in having them.

I suggest you show your doctor next time you go for a physical, for confirmation.

Take care.

To: help me please
please help! i have had these little bumps under the head of my penis, i am not curcumsized, and regularly mastubate, ever sice i have had these like every 6 weeks or my skin starts to shead, the skin that is there when u fold ur foreskin back, i can peel it with my fingers, i thought that this was combating or trying to get rid of the bumps, i have had them for around 3 years now, and im only 15! also when my skin starts sheading my forskin begins to tighten up, so when i pull back my forskin to go pee or something it is difficult and starts ripping the forskin, untill i have larg cuts on my forskin (when i pull it back u can see the cuts) and it is extreamly painful, can u tell me what the heck is going on?? oh yes and im a virgin.

thank you-
