Hey! Thanks for all the info. Do you know of any creams, remedies that will get rid of this un sightly reddness?:( Thanks, J
I'm amazed you have been using the same razor for the last 8 months, and doing it dry shaving. Then again there is very little out there too tell us how to shave.
Always buy a good quality razor, not one of those cheap throw away ones, and only use it 3 or 4 days. After that it will become blunt and start to damage your facial skin. And never shave dry. Your skin needs something between the blades and your skin to help with the process of shaving. A shaving foam if ok, or better to use a cream or clean gel so you can see where you are shaving. Dont use soap as said by the guy above, as soap can contain detergents or oil strippers that will dry the facial skin.
Sadly the price of razors is stupid and only goes to make profits for people like the Gilette family. If razors cost a normal price for what they are, just abit of steel etc, perhaps you would use the same one for so long.
buy a new razor for one and don't shave with a dry face. Either use shaving cream or soap and water. You need to replace your razor heads every so often. Or get a electric razor. This will shave you just as good as anything else.
