HPV (Male)

Hello Doctor, I am a 21 yr old rather healthy male, about 6 months ago i had unprotected sex with my then fiance who i found out had been cheating on me while i was away for work. Several weeks after i had a very small bump on the base of my penile shaft i picked at it foolishly since i figured it was just a pimple or ingrown hair. Now the bump has grown some and is reddish in color when irritated when not it is almost skin colored or a little darker. Also on the top of my penis shaft i have some strange purple discoloration which isnt very noticable but i can def tell the difference and it was not there before. Im going to include some pics of the bump hopefully you could observe and let me know if you think it is being caused by HPV (genital warts). The larger bump is well seen the smaller one is just a bit higher to the left. Plz note it is a bit irritated in this picture so it may appear a little redder than usual. It has been present for almost 4 or 5 months now

Thank you Dr. Rockoff the HPV thing has just been driving me crazy ive got an appointment with the preventitive medicine team here on post just to get tested for all STD's then should i request to see a Dermatologist here on Post or visit a civilan Derm??? Also molluscum has a very common central depression if i remember my studies and these bumps have no central depression. Well i guess ill just have to leave it alone and take ur advice until i get some real closure. If it is HPV and i have it treated what are the chances of me spreading it to my new girlfriend??

I can't really tell from the photo.  it doesn't look like an HPV wart.  it may be a molluscum wart, which often isn't sexually-related.  This may have nothing to do with your fiancée, but the only way you're going to know is to leave the spot alone and see a doctor in person.  That's what I advise you to do.

Best.
