Hair under my skin, I'm not crazy!

I have long curly hair. I n 62 and  I have had breakouts like on one side of my face for about 2 years on the side that my hair hangs on. I could not get this acne to complete go away. It would almost be give and back again. I could actually see a line that went from one spot to another. It's hair! My hair. Ever chance I could even see a hair close to the surface I pulled, and it was under the skin and the breakout would but break until that hair was gone. Months of picking and pulling hair out the and seems to finally be gone. My problem now, I still notice hair under my skin. I mentioned to my Derm and she said it's adult acne. I can see this one my skin! I have pulled the hair out! Sometimes it's a hair from my hairline that has worked it's way under my skin other times a hair just lays on my skin and it literally seems to work it's way in. This is no parasite this is not margello. Lately I noticed very fine hair under my skin. I also have 4 spots on my neck thar long hair grows out of. I can pull a long hair out and another seems to be hooked onto it and then another pulls out. This goes on and on. Sometimes the hair actually goes under the skin and up my neck onto my face. And it causes a pimple like sore if I don't get the hair pulled out. The hair is fairly close to the surface so it's easy to pull it back out.
My skin is so sensitive that these fine hairs can fall on my face or neck and my skin just grabs into it and the hair literally seems to sink in. I know I'm not crazy. This is real. I've always had great skin and look late 40s not 60. What is this? What do I do? I'm afraid to go to a DR. I'm not going to be laughed at!!
