Rash appeared out of no where

My 7 year old has a round rash about the size of a quarter right under her chin.  She also has a small patch right under her lip.  It was not there a couple hours ago.  She says it burns.  Any idea what this could be?

Hello,
Such a rash which appears suddenly and burns can be due to contact dermatitis or hives due to an allergy. Wash the area with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Then apply a good hypoallergenic moisturizer over the area and wear cotton clothes. If the symptoms still persist then please get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

May possibly pityriasis alba/fungal infection. Right now apply vaseline and if diagnsis of fungus confirmed clotrimazole creme.Do consult your family doc.
