Herpes?

About a year ago, I had unprotected Oral sex. It was my one and only sexual experience of any kind. About a month ago, during a warm stretch of weather, I was wearing long pants, and my scrotal region was particularly sweaty. At the end of the day, I was taking a shower, and noticed a pimple at the very top of my scrotum. I popped it, and as usually happens when a pimple is popped, the area remained slightly swollen. Well, A month has passed and a small amount of this inflamation remains. Ive never exhibited any other symptoms of herpes that werent attributed to something else in my entire life, but in my anxiety, Ive read alot of different things about Herpes and Im now nervous. If it helps, I shave my pubic region, so although there was no hair on the pimple, there is some on the area where the pimple was. It is not particularly reddish, and doesnt really hurt, itch or tingle that much. I attribute the pimple to the perspiration, but why would the puffiness stick around? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

I NOTICED I HAD A RAISED BUMP ON THE HEAD OF MY PENIS ABOUT A WEEK AGO. IT HAS NOT GONE AWAY AS OF YET. IT DOES NOT HURT, ITCH, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT. I HAVE NOT HAD UNPROTECTED SEX IN OVER 2 MONTHS NOW. I HOWEVER DID RECEIVE ORAL SEX FROM A FEMALE ABOUT TWO TO THREE WEEKS AGO. I NOTICED THIS BUMP ABOUT A WEEK OR SO LATER. I JUST RECENTLY STARTED WORKING OUT IN WHICH I HAVE PERSPIRED ALOT. WOULD THIS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WIHT IT.

It sounds like a pimple.  I think you ought to see a skin doctor or other STD expert just to get a definitive diagnosis, but your description matches that of a blocked follicle or perhaps small cyst, not the intermittent blisters of herpes.  Puffiness can last a long time, especially if you examine or touch the area.

Best.
