Herpetic Whitlow on palm??

Hi,

I was diagnosed with herpetic whitlow 12 years ago. It was never cultured but I had the typical symtoms (symptoms) and pain that match the daignosis. The outbreaks recurred monthly for several months and I began taking Valtrex daily. When I became pregnant 4 years later I stopped taking the meds. I had one outbreak during the pregnancy, and stopped taking the medicine all together.After that, my outbreaks were very rare, maybe one every 6 months. About 2 years ago both of my hands broke out all over in a nonpainful rash. It looked just like the blisters I get with the HW, but they covered my hands and were tiny. That went away after about 7 days. Since that time I haven't had another outbreak on my finger, but instead on the palm of my hand. So my question is whether or not this is HW. In all of my research it seems to be typical only to the finger. Symptoms on the palm are exactly the same....tingling,numbness,clear painful blisters that throb....eventual rupture and scabing over. Has anyone else had this experience? I also had shingles one time in middle school. Thanks for any info

This is cherio pompholyx related to allergy to a fungal antigen elsewhere in the body.These are indeed tinier than herpes.

every 3 or 4 yrs same spot in palm of my hand,they come back!
i can always tell a few days b4 ' cause i have  a  terible ache up to my elbo . then boom like clockwork....it *****.......but i guess its in for te long haul now ,,,,so congrats to me. by  the way,,,,got them from my father  around 11 yrs ago,he was real bad sick and i cleaned them without gloves,,,,,,
