i have white substance on pubic hairs under the testicles, with a slight rash on the skin of the inner thigh. looks almost like residual soap, but its not.

i thought it might be a fungal disease and have been applying an ointment, but to no avail.

any opinion?

If you didn't get it from sex, ot might have come from contact with sheets.  Lice can live for about 30 days off the body.

figured it out.

Pubic lice. saw the nits under a microscope.

i work in nursing homes, so, i either caught it there, through close contact with patients, or from using public toilet seats.

can't believe it. been working in nursing homes almost 10 years, never had a problem like this before.

Fungus rashes are red or brown.  I can't do more than guess about white substances on the hair.  Can't imagine it's serious, though.  Maybe a doc should see it.
