I dont know what it is

I am worried. I have this pimple like bump on one of my shoulders. It is pinkish-like color. I have had it for about 1 year now and ait hasn't changed in size, but It is more tender to touch now and it itches sometimes. Does anyone know what this might be?

If it doesn't change in size, does that rule out skin cancer?

Whatever it might be or turn out to be it is best that you have it examined and then get it removed.

Since your concern is that it might be a cancer, which one cannot diagnose by just looking at , much less hearing about it, the best thing for you is to get a biopsy done.

Depending on what the result is, you can decide  what to do based on the treatment options that you have.

Regards.

Hi,
This could be a sebaceous cyst.A sebaceous cyst is a closed sac or cyst below the surface of the skin that is filled  with a fatty white, semi-solid material called sebum.

The scalp, ears, back, face, and upper arm, are common sites for sebaceous cysts. They are smooth to the touch, vary in size, and are generally round in shape.

Sebaceous cysts generally do not require medical treatment. However for cosmetic purposes if you want it removed then surgical excision is done, which is a simple procedure to completely remove the sac and its contents.

A slow growing growth does not rule out cancer , it is best that you get it examined to reach an accurate diagnosis.
