Welcome to the Dermatology Expert Forum! We shall try to help you as much as possible with the information below.
Pinkish, shiny, persistent (not spontaneously resolved) penile papule (bump) with discrete scaling developed after skin trauma (and STD excluded) could be clinical manifestation of several skin diseases, with Lichen planus on the top of that list followed by Lichen sclerosus, eczema, psoriasis and candidiasis, to name only few. All of these diseases are manageable, so do not worry but do visit a dermatologist.
Your physician will take medical history, perform detailed skin examination, and perform diagnostic procedures (probably skin cultures and biopsy) to establish final diagnosis.

some more information: I have started to treat it with Neosporin.
I am curious if this is a STD or is this more likely related to penile injury during sex. since it has lasted two weeks I'm starting to get alittle scared. As I said earlier I attempted to interogate the area and have aggitated it a couple of times(dr's advice I know Stop doing that :-) ok will stop ) .
During sex, I noticed a significant ammount of pain due to her teeth, and she does have a sharp tooth, consistant with where it would meet the red area.
based on the photos, should I go to a dermatologist to treat this immediately, or wait and see if other symptoms manifest themselves or take a hands off approach and let it heal?
any other advice is welcome.
thank you.
Duration: It's been about a two weeks, so far however I think it keeps getting irratated, I can't tell. I'm keeping the photos now to track changes.
