A Mechanical Pencil Lead

Hi,

I'm 19 years old. I had this mechanical pencil lead in my skin since i was 8 or 9 years old. It was about 4-5mm in length. The place where it was poked was on my right, lower wrist area. Luckily it did not poke into any of my veins or artery all that. Now i still can feel it when i pull and grab the area of the skin with my left thumb and finger. May i know any side effect that it may cause or will it cause infection to my blood ?

Thank you.

My little sister has had a needle in her foot for about 6 years, the dr won't take it out unless it is bothersome.  In highschool she even was a cheerleader, and it didnt bother her.  Luckily for you pencils are no longer made of lead.  Youre body would've rejected it an become inflamed or infected if it was a threat.
