Thanks Doc, I Thought the same,It might be scabies, I will do as you say and let you know..
Hello,
Since you have described the rash and the symptoms, it looks like a case of scabies. It is an infestation of the skin with the Sarcoptes scabiei mite. It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.
My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist and get it ruled out.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Hi,
I have had similar problems for the past 2 years, My anal passage is red and itchy and so is between my cheeks. My groin sometimes gets red and itchy. I get pimples and big blackheads in my inner thighs and I also have silver streaks that look like stretch marks.
I was told by my GP that it was jock itch and that it was a yeast infection however all treatments for it do not seem to have mych of an impact other than temporary relief. About 3 months ago I was diagnosed with psoraitic arthritis because some of my joints swelled up. I have never had problems with it before but I think my condition could be some unusual form of inward psoraisis.
psoraisis normally affects the outside of joints but occasionally affects the inside of crevases on the body. I think this is what i have but i cannot be sure. Thought you might consider it
I do not beleive it to be jock itch cause of so symthems i have, thay are some little red bumps on my ball sack, also i have a red bump on the head of my penis (looks like a sore) and i have a rash that runs from my groine to the small of my back. Also i have some black heads (pimples) on the backs of my upper legs. The itching seems to get worst at night,I do have a rash on the side of my body and my stomect area.
Hello,
The symptoms are suggestive of jock itch. Jock itch shows up in post-adolescent men and hormonal changes during puberty, lifestyle and heredity each play a role. Predisposing fungal disease like tines cruris may also aggravate it.
Wash your groin daily and then dry thoroughly by pat drying, not rubbing. A hairdryer is useful if you have hairy groins. The damp groin is an ideal site for fungi to multiply. Also wear cotton underwear and change them twice a day and do not share other people’s towels. Application of local antifungal cream(terbinafine, clotrimazole, econazole, ketoconazole, miconazole) and oral antifungal drugs are the mainstay of treatment.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
no kind of rash...? because I get the same thing, but it is an allergic reaction to peanuts...
