Itchy butt cheeks & vaginal area.

for a few weeks now, I've been itching uncontrollably. it started just with the skin around my vagina, where the pubic hair grows & also on my butt cheeks. they non stop itch, and end up with scabs & sores. but it sort of seems like it's spreading all over.. like on my legs and stuff.
could this be scabies? crabs/body lice?
I've had the same partner for 5 months now, and ever since I started itching so has he, but he doesn't have the sores or anything.
i don't believe it's from shaving, because no sort of razor burn has ever been anything like this. it's miserable.
FYI, I haven't been to a doctor yet..
I don't think my boyfriend would sleep with anyone else so that's why I'm kinda doubting crabs or something like that, and I'm 100% sure it's not like an STD..
but if it's body lice or crabs how could I have gotten it? by sitting on someone's couch that has it?
or is it just most likely scabies..?
please help.
what do I need to do, or who do I need to go see? professional-wise.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to scabies. Permethrin and oral ivermectin are the best treatment options of scabies. Sometimes itching of scabies persists for a few days after completion of treatment also and sometimes there may be recurrent and chronic cases which may require oral treatment of ivermectin. So you should continue the permethrin treatment for a few days more and if the symptoms persist then oral ivermectin may need to be prescribed. There is a rule that all family members of the patient of scabies also need to be treated even if they do not have any itching or rashes. Hence please ensure that all your family members also get the topical treatment. If the itching persists even after treatment completion then oral antihistaminics can be taken because itching of scabies takes some days to settle down.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

& they itch so much worse at night time. the itching wakes me up.
I haven't noticed what triggers the itching. it doesn't do it after sex, or from wearing certain clothes.
I literally have no freeking clue why or how this is happening.

also, I've had some weird bumps on my fingers that are almost pimple like. but they were only there for a couple days, and also itched very badly.
I have random bumps like that everywhere.
