Its not herpes, and i have blisters on hands and feet

Hey, I started having issues about 6 months ago. I started breaking out on the shaft of my penis with jus regular bumps. Currently there is just one blistering bump on the top of the shaft, and 4 blisters on the glans. The interesting thing is i was tested for herpes and syph, and it came back negative, but a dermatologist i went to afterwards said that there was no such thing as a test for herpes, and he said I had it. So I am confused about the whole issue. I also took valtrex and it didnt really work.

Now about the blisters on my hands and feet, the same dermatologist said it was eczema, but im not to trusting of his word. They look like pimple, but wen i pop them clear liquidcomes out and later on my skin drys and starts peeling around where the bump was. If u need pics to better understand, let me know. Thanks in advance doc.

My friend just visited a dermatologist and had the same symptoms as you. He is clearing up fine. Its rare, but try researching and getting a prescription for Lickens Planus. Also research Scabies.

Hi,

There are several causes of blisters.

'Blisters are usually caused by injury to the skin from heat or from friction, which create a tear between the epidermis—the upper layer of the skin—and the layers beneath.

Short periods of intense rubbing can cause a blister, but any rubbing of the skin at all can cause a blister if it is continued for long enough. Blisters form more easily on moist skin than on dry or soaked skin, and are more common in warm conditions.

Sometimes, the skin can blister when it comes into contact with a cosmetic, detergent, solvent or other chemical; this is known as contact dermatitis. Blisters can also develop as a result of an allergic reaction to an insect bite or sting.

There are also a number of medical conditions that cause blisters. The most common are chickenpox, herpes, impetigo, and a form of eczema called dyshidrosis. '

It would be best to consult a doctor if it does not resolve on its own in a few days.

Let us know if you need any other information.

Regards.
