I'm just wondering if someone is able to translate the following for me. I know it's not a big deal, but I'd like to keep on top of it. The results from a recent mole biopsy are as follows: "This skin shows a slightly asymmetrical compound nevus with shoulder region. Atypical junctional nervus cell nests are seen with rete hyperplasia. There is papillary dermal fibroplasia. The lesion appears closely excised and there is no evidence of an invasive melanoma." So while it's obvious that melanoma isn't the issue, and i've had a few dysplastic moles removed in the past, what on earth does the report mean? LOL. Thanks :)
