Whenever I shave my legs, i get red bumps or blisters and their very itchy. one time, i scratched them until it bled and bruise after. it happened many times but only to same areas. Now, i am having difficulty getting rid of the bruises. i went for check-up with GP and i had my bloods checked. all were within normal levels except my hemoglobin.  My doctor said i have iron deficiency anaemia.  I took iron tablets for 3 weeks. up to now, i still have the bruises. do you think i am experiencing other medical conditions? or is it because skin irritation happened on same areas that it has now come to a point that difficulty in skin regeneration is happening

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Anemia and deficiency of vitamins C, K, B12, or folic acid are the common causes of such symptoms.Try taking iron tablets and multivitamins for some days and see if the symptoms improve. If the symptoms do not improve, get yourself evaluated by a physician and look out for SLE, bone marrow disorders, liver diseases or leukemias. A complete evaluation and coagulation profile needs to be done.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Those with very soft skin do tend bleed more, but then get your CBC,and bleeding and clotting time to make sure that it is nothing more.
Best wishes.
