Looks like folliculitis

Age:23
Sex:at least once a day for the past month with my new girlfriend, prior to her I believe the bumps may have been there, I remember trimming(not shaving) and thinking it might have been a reaction so dismissed it. Was tested for STD prior this month.

I've scoured the web for a pic of what I might have and the closest I've come to is folliculitis, but the problem is that these little "pimples"(red around the base then the dome is white) are in places that don't have hair. It's persisted for I would say a couple of weeks now. Doesn't itch or get irritated at all, but it seems to be jumping around, both my hips around my love handles are getting 3-5 larger pimples.

She does have 2 animals, a dog and cat. Wondering maybe lice, or a tick? But like I said no itching, but I don't see any improvement with just time.

Hopefully this photo will answer a lot of questions, and someone in the future can compare what they have to this, because I couldn't find anything that might look like this.

For completeness sake, when I went to the doctor to have my throat checked for strep I asked him about this, he said it was molluscum contagiosum. So ya, for everyone out there, that was what it was.

Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like irritated hair follicles only. It does not look like jock itch which does not present as bumps but is a red itchy rash. Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle.

Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics and calamine lotion. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

I don't think its impetigo. If this was contagious my girlfriend would have it by now after a month of intimacy.  Also, no puss or any liquid really comes out of the "pimples" other than blood, but thats from the skin being torn not the bubble being popped.

My first guess is going to be some form of Jock-Itch, picked up some anti-fungal cream at walgreens, give me 2 weeks and we shall see if I was right or not heh.

I can't really see the red spots in the picture, but I'm guessing its impetigo. It's either just impetigo or it's bullous impetigo ( if it's real bad ) my daughter had the same thing and had to have a biopsy done to figure out what it was for sure. she had seen 4 different doctors who said it could be follicilitis. hers were red pimples with a little red rash around it and some have whiteheads in the center. good luck
