Dealing with a Warfarin rash

I have been on Warfarin for over a month and suddenly developed a rash on my arms and legs. What can I do about it?

Thank you so much for the answer. It seems to have calmed down a bit. I am taking a antihistamine for the itching and wearing loose cotton clothes. Some days it is more aggravated than others. I am seeing my physician on Monday because I think they have my blood too thin bevcause I am bruising for no reason and a lot. Last two times my PT/INR was 3.1. She adjusted from 5 mg daily to one night of 4 mg. More adjustment needed. Again thank you so much!
Blessings,

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to side effects of warfarin which may include itchy rashes on any part of the body. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. For the itching take some antihistaminic like Benadryl and consult a doctor as you may need to stop the medicine.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
