Lymphatic system???

I was trimming my chest hair with electric clippers and nicked myself right between my chest, shoulder and armpit.  After I showered, I dried off with a towel and noticed puss coming out of my cut.  I figured I would squeeze it all out.  A good amount came out along with some hair.  This was strange because it did not look like a pimple, but I just figured it was an ingrown hair that got infected.  After most of the puss came out, there was still a light yellowish white thing inside the cut.  I tried pulling it out only to discover that it was attached.  It did not hurt but it would not go back in.  After a few minutes, it turned purple.  I pushed it in far enough so that it is flush with the skin.  Should I be concerned?  Being so close to lymph nodes, could it be part of my lymphatic system?  If so, will skin grow back over it, can I wait and see what happens, or is this something serious that requires immediate medical attention?

A sebaceous cyst it is with dead keratin.Not serious, but since you cut it it can get infected.Do take a course of antibiotic if prescribed.
