Mole Grew white stocks all over

During my third trimester of pregnancy, I developed a small circular mole (maybe skin tag?) slightly darker than my skin color on my inner thigh. Within a few weeks, it started hurting. When I looked at it, it had grown these white stalks protruding from the mole. They were covering the entire mole and there was a thicker circular one in the middle. I was able to scratch the white stalks off and the mole stopped hurting. The white stalks were hard. Now, the mole looks like it’s slowly growing the white stalks back. The mole is raised and looks like it’s sitting on top of my skin. I googled forever and couldn’t find a single photo online that looks like this. I wish I could upload a photo! Any idea of what this could be?
