Dear abodeakeel,

Thank you for your reply and the picture.

The lesions that you have are nothing but junctional moles (flat moles). Please don't worry about them as they are quite common and harmless.

It’s absolutely normal to have moles such as these and there are no specific reasons as to why they develop.

However, if you see certain changes in these moles such as itching, bleeding or erratic growth, you must report it to your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.

Wish you good health.

Best Regards

Dear abodeakeel,

Thanks for your query.

I need to know a few things in order to be sure that your lesions are actually moles:

1) What is the color of the lesion you are describing?

2) Do you have any symptoms like itching or burning?

3) How is the texture of the lesion (smooth, raised or rough)?

If it is indeed moles that your describing, I do not see any psychological reason for their appearance. Moles are not a STD either. It is good to know that you have been tested for most STDs and the results are negative. As for the cause of your lesions, I would like to rule out the possibility of molluscum contagiosum and viral warts.

If you can provide the answers to the questions that I have asked above and perhaps a picture of the lesion, I would be able to help you better.

Hope that this information helps and hope that you will get better soon.
