Moles

My daughter was diagnosed with severe cytologic atypia, what does this mean and should I be concerned?

Sorry, I meant knowledge about moles is restricted since we do not come across it as a problem in the tropics.

A mole regrown after removal will show atypia.A dysplstic mole sometimes show severe atypia. There is lot of confusion about nomenclature, but this is not a melanoma. However your consultant may like to remove it with a border. My knowledge about melanomas are restricted, but this is the baseline and the broader picture.Do get the expert column reply.
