Moving rash

Started 2nd week in March 2014. Right side of scrotum. Soon spread through entire scrotum and was very red and itched. After a month or so it moved to the right side of my penile gland. These symptoms only really bother me when wearing pants for work. Then last two weeks started to itch in anus and thighs. No bumps no nothing. Doctor says fungal. Haven't had sex since February. No relief and all areas are still involved. Multiple creams applied two from doctor and one I started a day or two ago! Please help nervous

I have seen my doctor once. Was given a anti fungal prescribed cream. After couple weeks nothing changed and it moved to my butt. I just don't understand I mean you can't even really see a rash! I called the doctor to be seen again and she just gave me a different cream. Starts with a k. Again has been nearly a week no improvements. Now my crack is raw and split. Gland of my penis still is sore if it rubs my pants. And occasionally scrotum still is aggravated. What do I do!? I have used over the counter, prescribed creams and powder!! I always sleep without bottoms. It feels better after work and I change out of the clothes

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These symptoms can be due to intertrigo. An intertrigo usually appears red and raw-looking, and may also itch, ooze, and be sore.

Pls keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics.Topical zinc oxide cream like Sudocrem, Desitin are very helpful(apply with a paper towel and not directly with hands).Application of mild steroid cream like dermacort also helps. For the itching pls take some over the counter antihistaminic like benadryl or Claritin. In case the symptoms persist then antifungals may be needed.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
