Cellulitis is an infection of the deep subcutaneous tissue of the skin.It is characterized by redness, swelling, warmth, and pain or tenderness.
Diagnosis is confirmed by clinical examination and blood cultures.Treatment includes incision, debridement and curettage followed by a course of antibiotics and pain killers.
I sincerely advise you to consult a surgeon soon and get it treated to prevent further complications.
I hope that helps. Please do keep me posted if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
